Type of Project

Full Renovation

This full renovation to a Wimbledon flat utilises a soft palette of light materials including an eggshell herringbone floor and white painted plaster walls. The living room’s spatial arrangement was made open plan to create an engaging transition through the space, punctuated by moments for interacting with or viewing our Clients extensive book collections and artworks.

The Entrance

The entrance into the flat creates a dynamic moment for viewing through several spaces at once. Like peering into a Vermeer the combination of theatrical spatial design and beautiful collections of art and design artefacts subtly nods to the classical works that lie beyond.

“Dani and the team were exceptional. From the creative ideas, the patience in putting together the drawings and re-drafting when needed, to the support and advice all along the process; everything was of the highest quality.”

The Bathroom

Minimalist sandstone textures and white porcelain sanitary ware are used throughout the bathrooms. Soft pine vanity units and cork mats are used to complement the sandstone hues.

Living Room

The spatial design, material choices and art collections come into full effect when standing in the middle of the living room. The simple material palette works perfectly as the backdrop to our Clients extensive art collections. The space also makes use of floor to ceiling height mirrors, to great effect, giving the room a sense of grandeur and opulence.

Kitchen & Study

Throughout the rest of the property the minimalism works perfectly as the counterweight to juxtapose more works of art, instruments and personal artefacts. In the kitchen our Client worked with a supplier from Manchester who were able to deliver and install for less than £15k.

“My Architect has been such a pleasure to work with at every stage of our process. The initial call and consultation with Harry was incredibly organized and made a very complicated process clear and transparent. As this was our first ever renovation and build, it was incredibly helpful that the team had broken down each of the phases with a clear set of deliverables at each stage.”
