RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTS IN WANDSWORTH

At My/Architect, we specialise in high-end home renovations, extensions and interiors from £150k to £2m+.

We offer a fully integrated service that brings together architecture, interiors, contractor coordination and project management. Our approach is designed to provide homeowners with professional oversight throughout the design and delivery process.

As residential architects in Wandsworth, we established our presence in the borough following successful launches in Hackney, Camden, Islington and Hammersmith and Fulham. Wandsworth has since become our primary area of operation south of the Thames, with approximately 10–15 projects per year across the borough.

From the Victorian terraces of Balham and Tooting to the riverside properties of Battersea and Putney, the housing stock here offers significant potential for design-led transformation. Our team focuses on retaining period character while reconfiguring layouts to improve flow, light and usable space.

Our Team

Led by Founder Harry Molyneux and Director Dani Schmidt, our team brings architectural expertise and on-site experience to London residential projects. We combine design vision with practical delivery across our architecture services, ensuring each home receives care and attention from start to finish.

“Emily, Dani and Harry at My-Architect helped us develop a successful renovation and enlargement of a ground floor London flat. All the team were fantastic… the finished result was an excellent reflection on all the professionals and trades involved. The whole process of building, particularly in London, can be stressful but the team ensured that we completed the project with our sanity intact.”

WANDSWORTH ARCHITECT FAQS

Development across the borough is tightly regulated, particularly in areas like Wandsworth Common and Battersea where Article 4 Directions are in place. We support homeowners by producing the detailed architectural drawings required to demonstrate that a proposed extension or renovation respects the character of the conservation area while optimising internal space.

Yes. As architects in South London, Wandsworth is a key focus of our practice. We work across Battersea, Putney, Balham, Tooting, Earlsfield and Southfields. Our familiarity with the borough’s planning framework and housing typologies allows us to move efficiently from initial consultation to submission.

We provide a builder matchmaking service to pair you with trusted partners suited to the logistics of working in South London. We then oversee the project through to completion, managing site queries to ensure the build quality matches the design intent.

Treating the structural shell and internal fit-out as separate phases often leads to disjointed results. By handling both under one roof, we ensure that elements like joinery, lighting and material finishes are considered from the very first planning concept, resulting in a cohesive, premium home.

We specialise in high-end projects typically ranging from £150k to over £2m. This focus allows us to provide a dedicated, boutique level of service for homeowners seeking premium extensions and full-scale renovations.
